Caribbean Old House
I created a model of an old wooden house in the Caribbean in my school’s woodshop. To make the scene as authentic as possible, I crafted a standpipe out of concrete, added a clothing line with hand stitched clothing, made a banana tree out of paper, and included props like tiny cinder blocks and chickens, items commonly found in Caribbean yards.

Laser engraved block
This piece played homage to local celebrities. The border was designed online, incorporating elements from their specific craft, and then laser-engraved onto wooden slabs. Each portrait was printed using the silkscreen process and were individually attached to the wall with nails. Small circular slabs of wood contain a brief printed biography of each icon.

Wearing of screenprinted shirts in Paris
In August 2023, my family and I travelled to Europe for the first time. This piece was created as a preview of potential shadow memory boxes of the things we planned to do in each city, as well as vacation shirts to be worn in each city: London, Paris, and Zurich.
Last Train to San Fernando
Sculpture made of wood, metal, paper, and craft grass (March 2024)
I created a model of the last train to San Fernando using Angostura LLB Bitters soda cans from Trinidad. The model includes a wooden pedestal standing on a replica of train tracks, along with historical images of tickets and the train itself. While my model reflects the spirit of this historic train, the actual last train is now on display at Harris Promenade in my home city.
The Warmth of the Islands
Silkscreen on towel
Completed installation (March 2023)
I created a storefront installation capturing a trip to Maracas Beach. The backdrop was printed in the digital lab, while the chair was built in the woodshop. I used silkscreen to add images onto the towel, and also included authentic Caribbean elements.
